B.C. Minimum Wage Increase Announced: What You Need to Know

The minimum wage in B.C. has been steadily rising since 2015.

On June 1, 2024 the minimum wage in B.C. will increase to $17.40 an hour, which represents a 3.9% increase. This increase is being made to be consistent with B.C.’s average rate of inflation in 2023.

Employees and employers need to be aware of the upcoming minimum wage increase in B.C.
